Our client wanted a modern home filled with as much natural daylight as possible created out of their mews house, whilst maintaining the contrasting exterior character of the street.
The removal of a substantial part of the existing roof for a structural glazed solution flooded the handmade staircase and bespoke handrail with light, whilst from the bath you can enjoy unhindered views of the sky at night.
The kitchen extension similarly benefits from a spacious layout with daylight from the structural glazed roof.
The house enjoys an integrated audio / visual solution to all rooms neatly concealed within the fabric. The whole house was completely rewired, radiators replaced with a underfloor heating system and a remotely accessed building management system installed.
